Nestled in native scrubland near the Clare Valley, Emmaus is a relaxing, hassle-free facility well-suited for low-cost schools camps and leadership retreats. The camp is available throughout the year from late March to early November to schools, churches and community groups requiring a convenient and low cost campsite. Emmaus is self catered and local attractions include: Balaklava National Trust Museum, Balaklava Courthouse Gallery, Blyth Cinema, Blyth Art Gallery and sporting facilities.

Accommodation

Emmaus offers bunk bed style accommodation in two bunkhouses for up to 40 guests. Separate male and female shower blocks are situated to the rear of the main building. A separate leader's cottage accommodates four guests. The total capacity of the site is 44 and guests are expected to provide their own sleeping bag and pillow.

Meeting Areas

Emmaus has three meeting areas available for use. Each meeting room varies in size and layout.

  • Dining / Meeting Room - 80 people
  • Recreation Shed - 60 people
  • Leaders Lounge - 10 people

  • Chairs
  • Tables
  • BBQ

Catering

Emmaus is a self-catering campsite.
